Offset Printing Services
Offset printing provides consistent, high quality colour at higher print speeds compared to other printing equipment types. A low cost per piece combined with a high set up cost makes offset printing best suited to larger quantity print runs, generally over 1000 pieces. Classic Printers has recently acquired a state of the art Ryobi 3404E-DI Digital Offset Press, the only press of its kind located on North Vancouver Island. This new digital technology significantly reduces our cost to set up each print run, allowing us to be substantially more competitive in the local offset printing market. As an added benefit, the Ryobi Press also utilizes a water-based ink system, reducing our use of toxic solvents and solutions, ultimately lowering our commercial impact on the environment. Digital Printing Services
Digital printing provides less consistent, lower quality colour, but offers the ability to print on demand. Digital printing is best suited to smaller print jobs that need to be completed as soon as possible or aren't colour critical. The cost of digital printing is substantially higher per piece compared to offset printing, but the ability to print on demand means a lower overall cost to complete smaller projects. Classic Printers utilizes state of the art HP Digital Printing technology, giving us the ability to cost effectively handle smaller print runs and provide shorter turnaround times. Large Format Printing Services
Our large format printing services utilize the latest in pigmented ink technology, providing a variety of uses. We use an HP Designjet Z3100 printer, allowing us to print in sizes up to 24" wide in varying lengths, perfect for banners or posters. Pigmented ink is ideal for outdoor or archival use, and can be printed on almost any media, like vinyl, art paper or canvas. Fine art giclee prints, trade show posters & banners, small outdoor vinyl signs or high quality photo reproductions are all possible using this technology.
